Black Diamond Wakeboarding School is operated by the wakeboarding world's most highly respected rider/coach combinations - Scotty Kell & Johnny Henson.

Scotty has been at the forefront of Australian Wakeboarding since the beginning, pushing himself, students and the sport in the right direction for over 10 years. He is responsible for developing a lot of the hot, young talent you see coming through the professional ranks right now and is likely behind the progression you see from amateur riders on your local river/lake.

Head coach, Johnny Henson is a well-known and respected face within the Wakeboarding and Wakeskating industry. He started his career at the young age of 7 and won (U14boys) the first ever Australian Wakeboard Nationals in Australia in 1995. At the age of 15 Johnny started his coaching career part time with Scotty Kell at Black Diamond Wakeboarding School in Sydney. After finishing year 12, John became a full time coach at Black Diamond NSW working closely with his mentor Scotty Kell, in turn mastering his coaching techniques and the fundamentals of Australian Wakeboarding.

With regular appearances from Australia's top riders and 'stopovers' from some of the world's finest, it is never difficult to draw inspiration - after all you will be riding in one of Australia's premiere locations, behind the latest offerings from Nautique Boats and in the company of some of the world's greatest wakeboarders.

Black Diamond New South Wales

Black Diamond Wakeboarding School is located on the Hawkesbury River in NSW, Australia.

Queensland

Black Diamond Queensland is based on the Gold Coast. It is a mobile school moving up and down the Queensland coast, coaching from the Gold Coast all the way through to Cairns.

Packages

lack Diamond operates 7 days a week all year round running 1/2 hourly lessons, hourly lessons and 1 day packages. The 1 day package includes 3 on water lessons and lunch.

For students wanting a longer package including accommodation this can also be arranged on request.
